Stockholm is defrosting

the worst book ever!!!!?????

When recommending books, I always say The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. It's one of those books you wished you hadn't finished even though it took 200 pages to really get into it. But an English guy overheard me recommending it to a friend on the T-bahn the overday and after I had got off announced to said friend that it was the worst book he had ever read!

I am in shock! I have never met anyone who has read The Fountainhead and not loved it! How can you resist the temptuous realtionship between Roark and Dominique. Oh those scenes between them. The quarry, his stark office.... well you will have to read it to find out more.

A french bistro in the most beautiful setting.

They have a wicked brunch on Saturdays too.... the bloody mary for 80 kr is positively a bargain in this town!

The final year students in Fashion, Advertising and Graphic Design at Stockholm Beckmans College of Design presented their final collections in January.

I loved fashion student Heidi Nilausen's collection and the video is just beautiful. Perfect colours.

The newly married artist couple Carl and Olga Milles acquired a property 1906 on the cliff of Herserud high above lake Värtan on the island of Lidingö. Their intention was to build a home incorporating space for their art studios and a place to exhibit their sculptures.

Now it also exhibits contempory artists in a beautifully designed gallery extension. We loved the graphic paintings of Hare-Linje.
