A fantastic directorial debut from Sean Penn's and Viggo Mortensen is brilliant. Patricia Arquette looks super cute with short hair and look out for a super young Benicio Del Torro! Brilliant movie... not sure why I've never seen it before!

Books to read.
One of my Dad's favourites book. A classic and a first edition.
Another classic from the 70's.
'A love story that takes place inside a packet of Camel cigarettes. Revealing the purpose of the moon, the conflict between social activism and romantic individualism and also deals with the problem of redheads!'
With that synopsis I am hooked!
Sometimes a girl just has to buy her own flowers!
So don't get me wrong he does buy me beautiful flowers but sometimes it feels nice to treat yourself. And on those occasions I like to buy a single stem. How beautiful are these? They're not roses but more delicately wild looking...no idea what they are called but they are my new fabourites!

Saturday days.
Reading.
I've taken over 2 months to finish Patti Smith's 'Just Kids'. Not because it was hard to read but because I would only allow myself 1 or 2 pages a day! I just didn't want to finish it. Such a beautiful account of her love and friendship with Richard Maplethorpe. A must read for all.
Then Sam found this Patti Smith poetry book with each poem written in both english and swedish. The perfect answer to further my Swedish studies and a Saturday afternoon.
1st fire of the year! It's been HOT here but Saturday it was torrential rain. Great excuse for a fire!
We visited Sweden'd biggest car boot sale and found this old box dating from 1806. 200 years old!
It was used to measure grain back in the day.
