It's - 10 and the pavements are treacherous and my army boots just don't hack it in these conditions! I NEED these Burberry shearling boots NOW and a matching shearling coat. I loved this show!

We travelled by fast train to Göteborg yesterday in a blizzard but got some really great atmospheric pictures of Swedsh countryside. Glad we were inside though!

My swedish course is not called intense for no reason!
2 hours in class and 3 hours studying everyday. Thankfully there is an amazing studyhall in Stockholms Stadsbibliotek.
Built in 1928 by Gunnar Asplund it is a fine example of 20's swedish neo classical architecture and makes studying oh so more pleasant!

We're going by fast train to Göteborg this weekend and driving back in our new car!
I hope it will be as pretty as our last road trip.

Fireplace vs television. What should be the focus in a lounge?
It's a tough one.
I love this image!

Frantzen Lindeberg michelin starred restaurant has a secret cocktail bar in Gamla Stan.
Amazing cocktails.
Thanks Johan for taking us there!

RIP Alexander McQueeen.
S/S 2001 one of the most astounding fashion shows of all time.
He will be remembered as a true genius.

I walk past these lamps every day in an antique shop on Roslagsgatan.
I want them!

I love my Smythson diary!
(Tack Rachael for the inspiration)
I want everything Celine, Chloe, Meadham Kirchoff, Holly Fulton and a Rodarte tattoo! I want never gets.

Onsdag fika en semla och kaffe!

Wheat flour bun filled with almond paste and whipped cream. Traditionally eaten on the last Tuesday before Lent but here it's Tuesday every day!

Some facts:

Semla derives from the Latin simila, which means fine wheat flour.
Records suggest semlor first became popular in Sweden in 1541.
Each Swede eats five semlor per year on average.
The unofficial record for the largest semla is 160 kilos. It was made in Linköping, about 200 km south of Stockholm, in February 2001.
King Adolf Fredrik died on February 12, 1771, after consuming a luxurious banquet rounded off with 14 servings of hetvägg, semla served in a bowl of warm milk!

I'm gonna get huge with all these treats!!
